Delhi-Varanasi IndiGo Flight Grounds After Bomb Threat

New Delhi : Panic erupted this morning at 5:35 AM after a bomb threat was received for an IndiGo flight scheduled to depart from Delhi to Varanasi. The aircraft was immediately halted on the runway.

Taking immediate action, all passengers on board were safely evacuated through the emergency exit, and the aircraft was promptly moved to an isolation bay for a thorough security check. Security personnel also arrived at the scene. The investigation so far has yielded no results.

It is reported that IndiGo flight (6E2211) was ready to depart from Delhi to Varanasi and was on the runway when the bomb threat was received. Consequently, all passengers were safely evacuated from the aircraft. However, IndiGo has not yet provided any official information on how it will transport passengers from Delhi to Varanasi.

The Delhi Fire Service received the bomb threat regarding the IndiGo aircraft. Notably, bomb threats have been made to schools and hospitals in Delhi in the past. Now, a bomb threat has been received for an IndiGo aircraft. The bomb squad present at the scene is investigating the aircraft. The investigation has so far yielded no results.
