Delhivery’s profit declined by 80 percent to Rs 10 crore in September quarter.

New Delhi, November 15 (IANS). Logistics company Delhivery has seen a decline of more than 80 percent in its net profit in the second quarter of the current financial year. This information was given by the company in its exchange filing.

The third-party logistics service company has posted a profit of Rs 10.2 crore in the July to September period of financial year 2024-25, as against Rs 54.4 crore in the June quarter.

During this period the company’s income has also remained almost flat.

Delhivery’s income in the second quarter of financial year 2024-25 was Rs 2,189.7 crore, up from Rs 2,172.3 crore in the June quarter.

Compared to the June quarter of the current financial year, the company’s EBITDA has fallen by 41 percent to Rs 57.3 crore, which was earlier Rs 97.1 crore.

The company’s margin has declined by 190 basis points to 2.6 percent in the July to September period, which was earlier 4.5 percent.

Delhivery’s Express Parcel segment revenue has increased by 7 per cent year-on-year to Rs 1,298 crore in the second quarter of the current financial year.

In the last quarter, the income of part truckload segment increased by 27 percent on annual basis to Rs 474 crore. At the same time, the income of supply-chain services segment in the September quarter was Rs 197 crore.

Income from truckload services segment grew 5 per cent to Rs 158 crore in the September quarter compared to the same period last year, while income from cross border services increased 43 per cent to Rs 59 crore.

On Thursday, Delhivery shares closed at Rs 328.60, down 0.51 per cent on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

Following the results, the company said the pipeline in the region remains strong and there are several active talks underway in electricals, fast moving consumer goods, e-commerce, auto and other industry sectors.
