Demand to include Sawaimadhopur in Kota division, Kirori Lal wrote a letter to CM

Sawai Madhopur : The demand to include Rajasthan’s Sawai Madhopur district, famous all over the country for Ranthambore Tiger Safari, in Kota division has been raised again. Currently this district is in Bharatpur division. But earlier it was in Kota division. The distance from Bharatpur to Sawai Madhopur is 200 kilometers. While the distance from Kota to Sawai Madhopur is 130 kilometers.

Kirori Lal Meena made a demand to the Chief Minister

Rajasthan’s Agriculture and Disaster Minister Kirori Lal Meena on Wednesday wrote a letter to Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma demanding inclusion of Sawai Madhopur in Kota division. In the letter, Kirori Lal Meena wrote that Sawai Madhopur district currently falls in Bharatpur division, which is 200 kilometers away.

These are the reasons behind adding Sawai Madhopur to Kota division

The minister wrote in the letter that there is not enough road facility to travel from Sawai Madhopur to Bharatpur. Apart from Sawai Madhopur, other tehsil headquarters of the district are not connected by rail, due to which people of Sawai Madhopur face a lot of difficulty in going to Bharatpur for divisional work.

The distance from Kota to Sawai Madhopur is only 130 km

In the letter, Kirori Lal Meena further wrote that Sawai Madhopur was earlier in Kota division. Its distance was only 130 kilometers. Also, there is a direct connection between Kota and Bharatpur by rail and bus. In terms of culture also, the people of Sawai Madhopur are closer to Kota.

There are many demands behind including Sawai Madhopur in Kota

In such a situation, Minister Kirori Lal Meena has demanded from Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma to remove Sawai Madhopur from Bharatpur division and include it in Kota division. There are many reasons behind the demand to remove Sawai Madhopur from Bharatpur division and include it in Kota division.

The distance between Sawai Madhopur and Bharatpur is quite long. It takes a lot of time to travel from Sawai Madhopur to Bharatpur, which causes delay in sending files and papers from offices to the divisional level.
There is Ranthambore Sanctuary in Sawai Madhopur, due to which this district has a distinct identity across the country.
One has to go to Bharatpur again and again for development work.
