Prayagraj, January 21 (IANS). People are taking a dip of faith in the Mahakumbh which started from January 13 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Here the devotees are purifying themselves by listening to kirtan and bhajan in various pandals and are enjoying the devotional atmosphere created here.
A grand laser light show was organized here on Monday. Which was enjoyed by the devotees who came here. This laser show has started under the leadership of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. This show has been organized under the direction of the Tourism Department.
This show is free for devotees. There is no fee to be paid in any way to view this. According to the information received, this laser show is being run in two shifts daily. In this laser show, the saga of Kumbh and the ancient temples of Prayagraj has been told.
During this show, images are shown on a water screen through laser light. After watching the show, IANS talked to some devotees.
A little girl who has come to Prayagraj said that she enjoyed watching this laser light show. I didn’t know the show would be so good here. I felt very good coming here. I didn’t know I would find so much good information here. Such a great show will be shown in water. I was very happy.
Another devotee said that we got a lot of information about Mahakumbh through the laser light show. Like why Mahakumbh is celebrated, what is the belief behind it. The third devotee said that he came to know why Mahakumbh is organized every 12 years, how the tradition of bathing in Mahakumbh started.
The fourth devotee said that this time a grand Mahakumbh has been organized in Prayagraj. I have not seen such a grand Kumbh in Prayagraj before. Many thanks to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for this. He said that people come from far and wide to take bath in the Ganga. Bathing in the Ganga brings salvation.
