Karauli : Hundreds of people sat in a queue and received Prasad in the Annakoot Mahotsav organized on Sunday in the Soneshwar Balaji Temple complex under the auspices of Karauli Soneshwar Balaji Temple Development Committee. On this occasion, Balaji Maharaj was offered a chola and was given special make up. Devotees Rajendra Saini, Mohanlal Saini, Dinesh Saini, Vikas Kumar Gupta etc. told that Prasad of Kadhi and Bajra was made in the festival. Prasad was started at 12 noon by offering it to Balaji Maharaj. Women reached the temple singing songs to receive Prasad. There was a queue of devotees throughout the day to get Prasad in the temple premises. People from villages like Manchadi, Amalipura, Timava, Ghatauli, Thodi, Bada, Rajpur etc. including Gudhachandraji arrived for Prasad. Similarly, Annakoot Mahotsav was also organized at the Shiva temple located in Mali Mohalla. Devotee Ramesh Mangal told that after offering bhog at ten in the morning, curry-millet prasad was distributed to the devotees.
Balghat Annakoot Mahotsav was organized on Sunday at Anjani Hanuman Temple of nearby Jahannagar Morda village. In which there was a crowd of devotees for Prasad since morning. After the formal worship and offering to Balaji Maharaj, the phase of distribution of Prasad started. People received Prasad with cheers. The round of Prasad started in the afternoon and continued till the evening. Servant Hemendra Sharma told that Chola was offered to Hanumanji. Decorated the temple with flowers. Acharya Chailbihari Sharma performed the puja. Devotees Hemendra Sharma, Gopal Sharma, Kailash Soni Govind Sain etc. were present.
