Dholpur : Black marketing of fertilizers is once again being seen in Bari, due to which the farmers are very upset. Farmers say that every season traders do black marketing of fertilizers like this. Newspapers and farmers raise their voice regarding this from time to time, but the administration has not been able to find any definite solution to it. Traders are exploiting the farmers by black marketing of fertilizers and seeds on a large scale. Farmers said that the government price of DAP fertilizer has been fixed at Rs 1300 to Rs 1350, but the traders in Bari are selling it to the farmers at Rs 1600 to 1700. And this work is being done openly right under the nose of the administration. All the officials are aware of this, but unfortunately, despite all the protests and memorandums, this problem is seen every time.
Traders also forcibly sell unnecessary goods: Farmers told that while going to buy fertilizer and seeds, the traders forcefully sell other materials and if not bought, they give various excuses and say that there is no fertilizer. Farmers told that these goods cost between Rs 100 and Rs 300. Due to which the extra burden falls on the farmers, there is no use of it in farming. Due to this type of economic exploitation, farmers are becoming distressed.
There is a lot of storage at the warehouse
Farmers said that most of the fertilizer and seed vendors have separate warehouses. Where seeds and fertilizers are stored in excess of capacity, but limited stock is kept at the shops, when they feel that the sales will be more, then they increase the price and sell it from the warehouse, whereas doing so is directly against the law. . According to the information, there are big warehouses of fertilizer seeds at Bhardwaj Market, Sitaram Bazaar, Sant Nagar Road, Jaipur Road in Bari, but farmers still have to buy fertilizer in black. Accusing the administration, the farmers said that in this way black marketing of fertilizer seeds is done every year whereas it is the responsibility of the administration to distribute the fertilizer seeds equally at the government rate.
