Bhilwara : A driver was hit by a speeding bike while crossing the road on foot in Bhilwara. The driver was admitted to the hospital in injured condition where he died on Wednesday night. The matter is of Samodi intersection of Pur police station area of the district.
Pur police station incharge Jai Sultan said – Dumper driver Narayan Meena (24), son of Kailash Meena, was going to have tea and breakfast at a hotel after parking the dumper on the roadside at Samodi intersection at 7 am on December 12. While crossing the road, a bike rider hit him at high speed.
He was taken to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Bhilwara in critical condition. After this he was referred to a higher centre. The driver’s family took him to a private hospital. Where he died during treatment on Wednesday night. Narayan was a resident of Makhanganj area of Parsoli police station area of Chittorgarh.
The family took the body to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital for postmortem on Thursday. The body was handed over to the family after postmortem in the district hospital. Based on the report of the family, the police have registered a case against the bike rider and started investigation.
