During the presentation of Rajasthan Budget, RPSC announced recruitment for the posts of Mining Engineer and Geologist

Ajmer : There is good news for the youth preparing for government jobs in Rajasthan. Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has issued recruitment for the posts of Geologist and Assistant Mining Engineer for the Department of Mines and Geology. According to the official notification issued by the commission, a total of 56 posts will be filled. Of these, there are 32 posts of Geologist and 24 posts of Assistant Mining Engineer. All the posts are permanent and the total number of vacancies received from the department can be reduced or increased. The Commission Secretary said that online applications for the said posts can be made from 22 July to 20 August (11.59 pm). Offline applications will not be accepted. Information will be given in due time regarding the exam date and place.

Age Range

The minimum age of the candidates should not be more than 20 years and maximum age should not be more than 40 years on January 1, 2025. SC, ST, Backward Class, Extremely Backward Class, EWS male candidates of Rajasthan state will be given 5 years relaxation in age limit. SC, ST, Backward Class, Extremely Backward Class, EWS female candidates of Rajasthan state will be given 10 years relaxation in age limit. At the same time, general category female candidates will get 5 years relaxation. There is no maximum age limit for widow and divorced female candidates. Reserved category candidates of other states will have to apply as general category candidates. They will not get any relaxation in age limit.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates for these posts will be done on the basis of written examination, cut off list and document verification.

-Candidates can apply from July 22 to August 20 by logging on to the official website of RPSC https://rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in/. Candidates can also apply by visiting the SSO website sso.rajasthan.gov.in. However, before applying through the SSO site, one-time registration will have to be done, if not done already.

-General, Creamy Layer of BC/Creamy Layer of Extremely Backward Class Candidates: Rs.600
-SC/ST, OBC non-creamy layer, EWS non-creamy layer, PWD candidates: Rs 400
