Dholpur : In Dholpur Maniyan police station area on Friday, an electric wire broke and fell in the fields. The grain along with the animal fodder kept in the field got burnt to ashes due to the electric wire coming in contact with it. The victim has demanded compensation from the government. The victim farmer Uttam son Ramjilal told that the wire of the power line passing over his fields suddenly broke and fell. Due to electrocution, the wells of chaff and grain sacks kept in the field were burnt to ashes. As soon as the news of fire in the field was received, villagers reached the spot. Where the farmers controlled the fire by installing a pump set.
Even before the fire could be controlled, the animal fodder and grains kept in the farmer’s field were burnt to ashes. Whose price is said to be around Rs 50 thousand. The victim farmer said that due to the fire, his grains and animal fodder were burnt to ashes, after which the farmer has demanded compensation from the administration.
