Mathura, November 12 (IANS). A major accident took place in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. There was a blast in the refinery here, the sound of which was heard up to a distance of about a kilometer. About 10 employees have suffered serious burns due to the fire that broke out after the blast. Everyone was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.
According to media reports, this accident occurred while starting the plant after the final shutdown at around 8 pm on Tuesday night. A massive fire broke out in the ABU plant due to furnace explosion. About 10 employees were seriously injured in the fire. Everyone has been taken to the higher center for treatment.
According to the information, a big blast occurred in the refinery plant as soon as the plant started after a shutdown of more than a month. It was restarted after everything was finalized.
There is a possibility that there may be leakage in it. The furnace burst and caused a blast. After which the plant caught fire. It is being told that the production manager is also among the injured. On receiving the information, police and fire brigade reached the spot. The police is investigating the matter
