Finally, after 5 years, elections will be held in this university of Rajasthan, date released

Jodhpur : University Teachers’ Association elections are going to be held in Jai Narayan Vyas University after 5 years. In this regard, the university issued a notification on Monday. Elections will be held on July 28 for various posts of the union. The tenure of the office bearers of the union will be 2 years. With the recommendation of the University Syndicate, all teachers working in the pay scale will be able to participate in the election process. About two months ago, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor KL Srivastava appointed Professor Mangalaram, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, as the election officer. He has now released the election program. Earlier, before Corona, the Teachers’ Association elections were held in 2019, then Prof. Dungar Singh Khichi was elected President and Dr. Hem Singh Gehlot was elected Secretary.

Elections will be held for 12 posts

Teachers will be elected for 12 posts in the University Teachers’ Association. There is one post each of President, Senior Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. Two teachers will be elected for the posts of Vice President and Joint Secretary. Apart from this, one faculty representative will be elected in the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Commerce, Faculty of Law and Faculty of Science.
