Fire breaks out in bogie of Dholpur train, panic in administration

Dholpur : On receiving the information of fire in the bogie of a train parked on the outer of Dholpur Junction, officials of the railway administration, police, fire and health departments along with the district administration reached the spot. One by one the officials who reached the spot saw smoke coming out of the train bogie, after which rescue and relief operations were carried out by various departments. Officials heaved a sigh of relief on receiving information about the mock drill.

The fire in the train bogie was reported by NDRF and Railways at 11.40 am on Thursday. As soon as information was received about the fire outside the railway station, Kotwali, Nihalganj and Sadar police station along with Additional SP Manoj Sharma and CO City Munesh Meena reached the spot. During this time, along with RPF Agra, the team of RPF Dholpur police station also reached the spot. After which NDRF personnel also reached the spot for rescue and relief work. Even after receiving information about smoke coming out from the train bogie, the fire brigade reached the spot late by about 45 minutes. As soon as information about fire in the bogie was received, the rescue and relief team from Agra also reached Dholpur. Where the railway bogie was cut with the help of a cutter. When the officials who reached the spot on receiving information about the accident came to know about the mock drill, they heaved a sigh of relief. During this time, along with Dholpur Additional District Collector, SDM and officials of other departments also reached the spot.
