Jaipur : Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat was on Jodhpur tour today i.e. Sunday. During this, he held a public hearing at the Circuit House. In this public hearing, people from Marwar, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jalore, Sirohi, Pali and Nagaur reached the Circuit House with their problems. Where everyone put their problems in front of the minister. Also, memorandums were also taken from the people. During this, many leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party were also present. After this, he talked to the media. In which he has appealed to the CM regarding the student union elections.

He said that in today’s time, student union elections are very important. I also come from here. Not only this, from former CM Ashok Gehlot to Ravindra Singh Bhati, leaders have come from student politics. If I talk in the context of Jodhpur University, there are many people who have played their role in this system of democracy by learning from this school. Therefore, my request to the CM of Rajasthan, Rajasthan Government and Chief Minister is that student union elections should definitely be held on time.

He appealed to the students on the protests happening regarding the student elections. He said that these organizations work above emotions. They have been working with a clear thinking and goal. You can make your life better by joining them. He further said that this is the first school of democracy. It is not right to block this path. If more than 20 lakh voters choose you as their representative three times in a row, then definitely those people have a lot of expectations from you. It is our responsibility to work for them. So be patient.
Gehlot government had troubled the public for 5 years
Also, targeting the previous government of Rajasthan, he said that the previous government troubled the public for 5 years. It kept making big promises to the people but due to lack of work on the ground, these problems remained as they were. These include many problems including road, medical, electricity. Apart from this, the previous government has failed to deliver all the government schemes to the public properly, this includes many schemes like Jal Jeevan Mission and electricity in every house. Along with this, during his tour, he said about the development of Jodhpur that recently he had held a meeting of the officials. In that he had given them instructions. Because the public has expectations from the current double engine government and it is our moral responsibility to live up to them.
