Jodhpur : A delegation from Germany and Ethiopia has come to learn the recipe of millet biscuits made in Jodhpur. Apart from biscuits, they also got information about which dishes can be made from millet. The delegation went to RDZ Bakery located near Ashok Udyan. He ate the cookies and tasted it. Cookies and cakes are supplied from this bakery of Jodhpur to the ministry of Delhi. Due to regular use there, the team has come to Jodhpur to understand its business model and the working of their millet.

Bakery owners Dr. Sumit and Amit Soni said, along with Varun of Aravalli organization, Indranil of Delhi based organization named Giz, a group of eight members from the delegation from Germany and Ethiopia have come to Jodhpur. He gave information about the cultivation of millet and the products made from it. Dr. Sumit Soni said – The team cut a cake made from millet. Also ate pizza made from millet. The entire team also visited Agricultural University Mandore Jodhpur. Where the work being done by the government regarding millets was shared.

As part of the trilateral development cooperation between India and Ethiopia, a delegation from Ethiopia and Germany will include representatives from Ethiopia Keystake Holders, GIZ India, the German agency for international cooperation and GIZ Ethiopia & Aravali (established by the Government of Rajasthan). Will undertake an experience exchange trip to Jaipur, Jodhpur and Barmer districts of Rajasthan from 18 to 24 November. For this reason, they also came to Jodhpur to gain experience. The aim of this trilateral collaboration is to promote the cultivation and use of millet, with the aim of improving the knowledge of Ethiopian stakeholders. Government, policy makers, businesses, etc. will be informed regarding the package of practices of cultivation, production, harvesting and processing of the entire millet ecosystem.
