GIDA’s 35th foundation day celebration on Saturday, CM Yogi will be the chief guest

Gorakhpur, 29 November (IANS). The 35th Foundation Day of Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA) will be celebrated on Saturday in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. On this occasion, the Chief Minister himself will hand over the allotment certificates to five big investors out of the plots allotted to 85 investors against the proposed investment of Rs 1,068 crore by GIDA in the current financial year.

Apart from laying the foundation stone and inaugurating infrastructure development works worth Rs 209 crore in various sectors of GIDA, he will also provide certificates to the youth taking skill development training from the NIELIT Center of GIDA. On the foundation day, CM Yogi will also inaugurate the two-day trade show to be organized in GIDA and 20 facilities of GIDA to be integrated on the Nivesh Mitra portal.

According to GIDA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Anuj Malik, in the 35th year of its establishment, GIDA has so far allotted 85 industrial plots in an area of ​​3 lakh 27 thousand 313 square meters. Through this, an investment of Rs 1,068 crore and creation of 4,658 jobs is proposed. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will distribute allotment letters to five big investors of the allotted plots during the Foundation Day function.

According to GIDA CEO, the major units for which land has been allotted in the current financial year include APL Apollo Tubes Limited, SLMG PET Plant, Kapila Agricultural Industries, Ison Air Cooler, Technoplast Packaging Private Limited, Modern Packaging Private Limited, Novamax Industries. And Hotel Neelkanth Grand.

On the 35th foundation day of GIDA, Chief Minister Yogi will gift projects worth a total of Rs 209 crore related to infrastructure development. He will lay the foundation stone of works worth Rs 123 crore and inaugurate works worth Rs 86 crore. The projects laid for the foundation stone include civil works worth Rs 94 crore and electrical works worth Rs 29 crore. Whereas, the projects to be inaugurated include civil works worth Rs 72 crore and electrical works worth Rs 14 crore.

Ease of doing business will further improve with the inauguration by the Chief Minister of 20 facilities of GIDA which will be integrated on the Nivesh Mitra portal. It is noteworthy that last year, on the foundation day celebration of GIDA, CM Yogi had launched the ‘GIDA Seva’ portal for the convenience of entrepreneurs. Now with the addition of 20 facilities of GIDA on the Nivesh Mitra portal, entrepreneurs will get more convenience.
