Jaipur : Bhajan Lal Government of Rajasthan has given a big gift to the people of the state by making CNG cheaper. Rajasthan State Gas, a joint venture of the state government, has reduced the rates of CNG and has given relief of Rs 3.69 to the consumers. RSGL Chairperson and Mines Secretary Anandi has given this information. The new rates have come into effect from late night. RSGL MD Ranveer Singh said that now Rajasthan State Gas will provide CNG to the consumers in Kota at the rate of Rs 90.21 per kg. Earlier, the rate of CNG in Kota was Rs 93.90 per kg. He said that the state government has given this relief from tonight by deciding to implement the budget announcement of reducing VAT on CNG from 14.5 to 10 percent.
Big relief came two days after the budget
Let us tell you that while presenting the first full budget of Bhajanlal government, Finance Minister Diya Kumari had made many big announcements. The Finance Minister had announced to reduce VAT on CNG-PNG from 14.5 to 10 percent. But, just two days after the budget announcement, the government has given a big relief by reducing the price of CNG. After the implementation of new rates, CNG has become cheaper in all the districts including the capital Jaipur.
