Jaipur : To create a positive environment for the birth of daughters in Rajasthan and to prevent dropouts in schools and colleges, the government has started giving them one lakh rupees. This amount will be given to them in 7 installments. However, this amount will be available only when the daughter is born in a government hospital and her education will also be in a government school and college. 4 thousand rupees will be given during the first class admission, while 50 thousand rupees will be paid on graduation. Lado Protsahan Yojana has been started by the Women’s Empowerment Department. Its first installment will be released in September. The first installment will be given when the daughter is born in a government hospital and the second installment will be given on completion of vaccination. The remaining installments will be given during studies. A resolution letter of one lakh rupees will be given on the birth of the daughter. The entire payment will be online. The government will spend about 320 crores on this in a year. The collector will review the scheme every three months at the district level.
Rajshri scheme merged
The government merged the already running Rajshri Yojana (Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana) with the Laado Yojana. Earlier, daughters were given Rs 50,000 under the Rajshri Yojana. Now, daughters taking advantage of this scheme will also get Rs 1 lakh under the Laado Yojana.

– Rs 2500 on birth of a girl child in a government hospital
– Rs. 2500 after one year of getting all the vaccinations, Rs. 4000 during admission to Class 1, Rs. 5000 on admission to Class 6

– 25 thousand rupees on taking admission in class 12
50 thousand rupees on graduation
