Jaipur : Jaipur City Transport Services (JCTSL), which operates city buses in the capital Jaipur, is now going to include 300 CNG buses in its fleet. This decision was taken in the board meeting held on Monday. The board meeting was organized under the chairmanship of JCTSL Chairman Rajesh Yadav. Union officials including MD Purushottam Sharma participated in it. Now this proposal will be sent to the government by JCTSL. It is noteworthy that currently 200 buses are being operated in the fleet of Jaipur JCTSL. The number of buses is very less as per the population of the city. Apart from this, 100 of these buses are going to be contaminated by 2025.
300 electric buses announced in the budget
The government has announced in the budget to purchase 300 electric buses in JCTSL. Its approval has been given by the Finance Department. This process is being started by JCTSL.
