Good news for the elderly, this scheme is going to start again in Rajasthan, know

Udaipur : Under the Senior Citizen Pilgrimage Scheme of the Devsthan Department, preparations have been made to take the elderly on pilgrimage again after 5 months. This year 36 thousand elderly people from the state will be taken on pilgrimage, out of these 6 thousand will be taken to Pashupatinath by plane, whereas 30 thousand will be taken to 15 different pilgrimage places in the country by train. A plan has been made to take the maximum number of 15 thousand people to visit Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. The Devsthan Department has started discussions with the Railways regarding the arrangement of trains. It is likely that the pilgrimage will start in August itself. Trains will depart from different cities throughout the year.

New applications will also be accepted

The elderly people who were included in the application process for the pilgrimage last year will be taken on the pilgrimage first, while the process of new application will also start. At present, the department has not decided the date for new application, but the Information Technology Department has been asked to take online applications. Applications will be taken district wise, the date of which will be announced separately.

The process of pilgrimage is being started again. A proposal has been sent to the railways for this. The dates of the journey will be decided after the planning comes from the railways. Information regarding new applications will also be issued.
