Jaipur : On the instructions of Medical and Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar, in the contract-based recruitment being done under the National Health Mission, the number of Community Health Officer posts has been increased by 767, making the total number of posts 5261. This will give a greater number of youth an opportunity to join the medical service and it will be a major step in the state government’s policy of providing maximum employment. Additional Chief Secretary of Medical and Health Department Shubhra Singh said that for posting at Ayushyan Arogya Mandir, the Medical Department had earlier issued a notification for recruitment to 3531 posts of Community Health Officer through Rajasthan Staff Selection Board.
After this, 963 more posts were added. Now these posts have been increased by 767 more to 5261. A proposal has been sent to the board to issue a revised notification in this regard. In the current total recruitment posts of Community Health Officer, 770 posts are from scheduled area and 4491 posts are from non-scheduled area. Thus, the present government has worked towards creating additional employment by increasing the total number of advertised posts by 1730 posts.
