Jaipur : After the announcement of the protest by former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Bhajan Lal government has taken a big decision on Wednesday. The government has announced to start Gandhi Vatika. The Tourism Department will operate Gandhi Vatika from Gandhi Jayanti (2 October). Chief Minister Bhajan Lal has also given instructions to form a committee for better operation of Gandhi Vatika. Apart from operating the garden regularly, this committee will also give suggestions on the promotion of Gandhiji’s values.

After this decision of Bhajan Lal government, Ashok Gehlot said that this is a victory of public sentiment. Today the state government has announced to open Gandhi Vatika Museum from 2nd October. Gandhi Vatika was built during the Gehlot government
Let us tell you that Gandhi Vatika Museum was built during the Gehlot government, which was inaugurated by Rahul Gandhi and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge in September last year. However, after the BJP government came to power in the state, Gandhi Vatika Trust was abolished. Congress was protesting against this. Former CM Ashok Gehlot had said that he would stage a dharna in Jaipur’s Central Park on September 28.
