Jaipur : Out of all the 25 Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan, this time 7 MLAs presented their claim. Out of which 5 MLAs travelled till Delhi. Due to which 5 assembly seats became vacant. By-elections are to be held on these seats soon. Congress has started preparations for this in full swing. Hanuman Beniwal has demanded two seats from Congress in the alliance. However, Rajasthan Congress has given a big indication by forming a four-member committee on all five seats.
Hanuman Beniwal asked for 2 seats
In this Lok Sabha election, Hanuman Beniwal contested from Nagaur in alliance with Congress. In which he won. Now Beniwal is demanding his own party’s candidate on two seats out of five assembly seats. Also Hanuman Beniwal says that RLP had influence on the 11 seats won by Congress in alliance. Due to which victory was achieved on these seats.
If there is no alliance then a triangular contest is possible
Hanuman Beniwal wants to field his brother, former MLA Narayan Beniwal, from the Khinvsar assembly seat. Hanuman Beniwal says that if the alliance remains in place for the by-elections on five seats, then RLP is demanding two seats. However, if the alliance does not remain, then a triangular contest is possible on all seats.
Congress formed a committee
Rajasthan Congress PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasara has formed a four-member committee for the by-elections to be held in Rajasthan.
