Heavy rain in Rajasthan, 270 dams in the state are overflowing, know their filling capacity

Jaipur : 73.87 percent of the total filling capacity of water has come in the dams of Rajasthan. This monsoon 270 dams of the state have overflowed. 85.01 percent of the total filling capacity of water has come in the dams of Kota division. 84.90 percent of the total filling capacity of water has come in the dams of Banswara division. At the same time, 73.35 percent of the total filling capacity of water has come in the dams of Jaipur division, 49.08 percent of the total filling capacity of water has come in the dams of Udaipur division, 40.20 percent of the total filling capacity of water has come in the dams of Jodhpur division.

Kota barrage has 97.42 percent water, Rana Pratap Sagar has 89.08 percent water, Mahi Bajaj Sagar has 88.92 percent water, Bisalpur dam of Tonk has 83.61 percent water, Morel dam of Dausa has 100.00 percent water, Parvati dam of Dholpur has 99.79 percent water, Gudha dam of Bundi has 100.00 percent water. Jawai dam of Pali has 33.39 percent water, Meja dam of Bhilwara has only 22.42 percent water, Som Kamala Amba of Dungarpur has 86.02 percent water, Rajsamand dam has 48.36 percent water, Jaisamand of Salumbhar has 47.92 percent water, Jakham dam of Pratapgarh has 62.80 percent water. Till now 122 dams of water resources department are lying empty in Rajasthan.
