Jaipur : After the monsoon became active in Rajasthan, the rain continues. On Wednesday, there was heavy rain and sometimes heavy rain in some parts of Bharatpur, Jaipur, Ajmer division and Shekhawati region. Similarly, there was rain in some parts of Kota, Udaipur and Bikaner division. In the last 24 hours, heavy rain was recorded in Jaipur, Alwar, Baran district. At the same time, very heavy rain was recorded in Karauli, Dholpur, Alwar district.
According to the Water Resources Department, during this period Karauli received 127 mm of rain, Shri Mahavirji 102 mm, Hindaun City 60 mm and Mandrayal 58 mm of rain. Due to 127 mm of rain in Karauli, waterlogging occurred at many places on the highway. Low lying areas also got submerged. Similarly, 120 mm of rain was recorded in Sarmathura, Dholpur, 78 mm in Alwar and 51 mm in Goluwala and Hanumangarh of western Rajasthan. Bassi of Jaipur received 32 mm of rain.
According to the weather centre, the monsoon has weakened and has turned into a circulation system. Currently, it is over Jharkhand. The monsoon trough line is passing through Bikaner and Sikar. According to the weather centre, rain activities will continue in many parts of eastern Rajasthan and some parts of Bikaner division of western Rajasthan for the next four-five days.
