Rajasthan : After the entry of monsoon, rain has been continuing in Rajasthan for the last several days. Heavy rain has been recorded in many districts on Thursday as well. According to the Meteorological Department, during the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall of 72 mm has been recorded in Marwar, Pali in western Rajasthan and 91.5 mm in Masuda, Ajmer of eastern Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department said that heavy rain is expected in eastern Rajasthan from June 29 to July 2 (Heavy Rain Alert In Rajasthan).
Monsoon entry in 20 districts
Monsoon rains were recorded in 20 districts of Rajasthan. Many areas were submerged due to heavy rain. Roads have been flooded due to heavy rains in Dholpur and Bharatpur and other districts. Roads were flooded with water at places like Gandhi Chowk, Depot in Jhunjhunu city, vehicular traffic was disrupted due to waterlogging on the roads. Right now good rain is expected in the state for the next 10 days.
Rain made a record in Ajmer
In the last 24 hours, moderate to heavy rains have been recorded in some parts of Jodhpur division in western Rajasthan and many parts of Bharatpur, Udaipur, Ajmer, Kota and Jaipur divisions in eastern Rajasthan. The highest rainfall in western Rajasthan was recorded in Marwar Junction, Pali at 72 mm and Masuda, Ajmer in eastern Rajasthan at 91.5 mm. In the last 24 hours, the highest temperature in the state was recorded in Jaisalmer at 41.4 degree Celsius.
IMD issued alert for 4 days
According to IMD, good rain is expected in Rajasthan for the next 10 days. The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert for 4 days in eastern Rajasthan. According to IMD Jaipur, there is a possibility of increase in heavy rain activities in some parts of eastern Rajasthan from 29 June to 2 July. During this period, heavy and very heavy rains are expected in some parts of Bharatpur, Jaipur division from 29 June to 2 July.
