Jaipur : The spell of rain continues in Rajasthan. Heavy rain occurred in many districts on Tuesday. In the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall in eastern Rajasthan was recorded in Dhambola of Dungarpur at 132 mm. Apart from this, 32 mm rain was recorded in Alwar and 17 mm rain was recorded in Sri Ganganagar of western Rajasthan. A spell of heavy rain suddenly started in Jaipur in the evening. It rained intermittently till night. The roads were flooded.
Sikar road drowned…cars started floating
It rained so much in Jaipur on Wednesday evening that Sikar Road looked like a flood. The road was not visible in the river of flowing water and the cars seemed to be floating. The road got submerged in water due to the rain of about ten minutes. There is a problem of waterlogging on Sikar Road due to lack of drainage system. During this time, 10 mm of rain was recorded at Sanganer Airport.
44 degree temperature in monsoon
Even after the arrival of monsoon in the state, the day temperature is being recorded up to 44 degrees. The highest temperature of 44 degrees was recorded in Ganganagar on Tuesday. Apart from this, 41 degrees temperature was recorded in Jaisalmer and 42 degrees in Bikaner.
