Here in Rajasthan, SDRF rescued villagers trapped in water, 5 unconscious

Jaipur : Pre-monsoon phase is continuing in Rajasthan and monsoon can enter anytime after 26 June. According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon will enter Rajasthan between 26 and 28 June. During this time there will be heavy rain in Udaipur and Kota. In such a situation, before the entry of monsoon, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) has also started preparations to prevent rain-related accidents in the capital Jaipur and nearby districts.

A mock drill was conducted on Sunday to rescue people trapped in the pond of Khudiyaala village near Dudu. Here, about 300 villagers were rescued and taken to a safe place and five unconscious people were sent to the command post.

Commandant Rajendra Singh Sisodia said that information was received from the local administration and civil defence department that due to heavy rainfall, flood situation arose in Khudiyaala village. Ten feet of water was accumulated all around the village.

On this, SDRF, NDRF, Civil Defence personnel reached the spot. It was learned that a mock drill of rescue work was done in the village pond.
