Udaipur : 17 people have died in the tribal area of Udaipur, Rajasthan and this figure is for about a month. The surprising thing is that most of the deaths in this case have been of children. However, regarding this death, Deputy CMHO Deepak Jain says that it is happening due to seasonal diseases. After the death of so many people, the eyes of the medical department are now open and alert mode is now visible. It is also being said that the death occurred in a suspicious manner because the deceased was suffering from fever.
So far, 17 people have died in Ghata Gram Panchayat of Devla in Udaipur district in about a month. Most of those who died are children. Whether the deaths occurring in tribal areas are due to seasonal diseases or it is due to some other reason has not been revealed yet. But, the villagers are seeing it as a mysterious disease.
Wrong treatment is also believed to be the cause of death
After such a large number of deaths, fear has spread among the local people. However, regarding the cause of death, it is also being said that wrong treatment can also be the cause of death. It is being told that out of these 17 people, 16 died due to wrong treatment by Bengali doctors. Sarpanch Nikaram Garasia has informed the administration about this serious situation.
Medical department organized camp
After the matter came to light, the medical department has been alerted and medical camps have been organized in four villages of Ghata Gram Panchayat. Deputy CMHO Deepak Jain said that the medical department had received the information on Saturday, after which the department is ready regarding this. He told that the medical department team from Kotra has also reached the spot. Patients are being treated from door to door. The medical department is investigating the entire matter. Deaths are also possible due to seasonal diseases. At the same time, more than 400 patients have been treated so far.
Door-to-door survey is being done
Deputy CMHO Deepak Jain said that door-to-door surveys are being conducted by forming different teams. All the deaths that have been reported are being verified door to door. The medical officer in-charge himself is monitoring it. The entire department is alert regarding the continuous deaths, monitoring is being done and factual reports are being prepared. This work will continue continuously for the next several days.
