ICU not operational in Jhalawar emergency, treatment not available on time

Jhalawar : Jhalawar ICU is ready in the new emergency building of SRG Hospital at a cost of about Rs 2 crore. But due to not turning it on, serious patients coming in emergency are not getting its benefit. Many times, serious patients need to be immediately admitted to the ICU, where tubes etc. are inserted, but due to it not being operational, the residents are facing problems. This ICU is complete with all facilities yet it is not being made operational.

10 bed ICU

Recently, a memorandum was given to the Dean of the Medical College and the District Collector on behalf of the Resident Association, demanding to start the Critical ICU. It was told in the memorandum that this is a 10-bed critical ICU, which is ready with all facilities. All the work of SRG is being done by the residents, but in other MICUs, RICUs and SICUs etc. the instructions are not being followed, this is directly affecting the patients. In such a situation, this ICU should be started for critical care training for PG residents to learn.

this much staff is needed

About 15 nursing staff and 10 ward boys are required in the ICU, so that treatment of serious patients can be started as soon as they come to the emergency room. For this, officials of the Resident Association have also met the Dean of the Medical College and the District Collector.
