Jaipur : Rashtriya Loktantrik Party supremo Hanuman Beniwal said during the campaign that this time if RLP loses the elections from Khinvsar, then my 20 years of struggle will end. Hanuman’s wife Kanika Beniwal is in the fray in Khinvsar by-election. Beniwal said that Bharatiya Janata Party will not make any difference in this election but Rashtriya Loktantrik Party will make a difference. He further said, “If RLP is not in the Assembly, my 20 years of struggle will be over.” People will say that Hanuman fought for 20 years and in the end even the seat of Khinvsar was lost. Therefore, you people should ensure that the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party wins and I continue to fight against the gravel mafia on the streets of Rajasthan for 4 years.
47 year old legacy
Hanuman Beniwal comes from a political family and his legacy is 47 years old. Beniwal’s father Ramdev Beniwal has been MLA twice. In 1977, Ramdev Beniwal won the assembly elections from Mundawa seat on Congress ticket and later in 1985, he became an MLA from Lok Dal. After delimitation in 2008, this seat was made Khinvsar assembly seat and Beniwal reached the assembly for the first time by winning on the election symbol of Bharatiya Janata Party.
the skill of staying relevant
Like his father, Hanuman Beniwal also has the skill of ‘going with anyone’ to remain relevant. Beniwal, who became MLA for the first time in 2008, continued to have a political fight with former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, after which he was expelled from the BJP in 2013. After that he contested the elections as an independent candidate from Khinvsar and won.
