Illegal encroachment removed from government land worth crores in Jagpura, Jaipur, 125 huts demolished

Jaipur : A new residential area has developed in the last few years near the airport, about 7 kilometers away from Jaipur city. The name of this area is Jagatpura. There are many multi-storey buildings, expensive apartments and houses of people living a luxury life. The development work of this area is looked after by Jaipur Developmental Authority (JDA). JDA also acquires and distributes lands. But government land worth crores in Central Spine A Block of Jagatpura was under illegal occupation for a long time. Which was removed through JCB in the presence of JDA officials on Wednesday. According to the information received, about 26 bighas of government land worth crores of rupees owned by JDA on JDA’s approved scheme Central Spine ‘A’ Block Jagatpura 200 feet Mahal Road in Zone-9 was freed from encroachment by Jaipur Development Authority.

There was illegal occupation along the 200 feet palace road.

JDA’s approved scheme Central Spine ‘A’ Block on Jagatpura 200 feet Mahal Road situated in the jurisdiction of Zone-9, about 26 bighas of valuable government land owned by JDA, has been temporarily encroached upon by nomadic people at about 125 places. There was illegal encroachment by erecting huts, bamboo tents, tarpaulins, tin sheds, bush debris, hand carts at 60 places, 3 nurseries etc.

If it was not removed even after notice, it was broken with JCB.

JDA had issued a notice to the encroachers under Section 72 JDA Act to remove illegal encroachment. But even after this the encroachments were not removed by the encroachers. After getting approval from the competent level, the valuable government land owned by JDA was freed from encroachment by the enforcement squad with the help of JCB machines and laborers under the supervision of Revenue and Technical Staff of Deputy Commissioner Zone-09.
