The victim has been sent a message saying that if the money is not given, he will have to pay the price of his life. The victim has registered a case regarding the matter at Kotwali police station on Sunday. As soon as the case was registered, the police started investigating. Threat to shoot if money is not paid

While registering the case, victim Vivek Sharma said, “I had received a call from an unknown number on November 15. The caller claimed to be a member of Lawrence Bishnoi and demanded extortion money of Rs 50 lakh. I disconnected the call. After that A threatening message came in which it was written that further messages would be received from the Bishnoi group. On November 23, a message came in the evening from an unknown number in which 50 lakhs was written in a threatening tone. Keep the money ready, will call you tomorrow. SP formed police team

District Superintendent of Police Mridul Kachhawa said that the victim has registered a case with the police. After the case is registered, a police team is being formed and investigation is being done. The numbers from which calls and messages were made are being investigated with the help of technical surveillance. We will soon arrest the accused and reveal the matter.

Message came from normal number

The method of extortion demanded is not like that of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. Whenever anyone receives a call from Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang, it is a foreign number. But, the number from which ransom has been demanded is a general number and text message has been sent to the person from Bharatpur.
