Rajasthan News Desk !!! In Bhilwara, Rajasthan, a grandfather had kept 90 lakh rupees in his locker after selling land. The granddaughter stole that money and had a lot of fun with it. Not only this, she also donated about one lakh rupees to a temple from the stolen money.
The case is of Kotwali police station of Bhilwara city on June 15. Police arrested four people including the granddaughter on Wednesday. Rs 82 lakh was recovered from them. Interrogation is being done for the remaining money. CO City Ashok Joshi said- On June 15, Bakshu Lal Jat, a resident of Harni village, came and gave a report. In this, he told that I have sold my land. Out of this, 90 lakh rupees came and he kept it in the safe of his house. The next day, the money was not there. Neither the lock was broken nor the safe kept in the house was searched. After this, the police started investigation on the basis of suspicion of involvement of any member of the house in this theft.
Grandma was sleeping, I took out the key to the safe
Police said- Bakshu expressed suspicion on Kailash Chandra Chaudhary’s granddaughter Pooja Chaudhary (28), wife of Bhaisakundal Hamirgarh resident Kailash Chandra Chaudhary. When the police strictly questioned Pooja, she broke down. She told that she had her eyes on her grandfather’s money. At night when the grandparents slept, she took out the key from the girdle tied around grandmother’s waist. The safe was opened with this key and the money was taken out. After this, he, along with his cousins Suresh Jat and Narayan Jat, residents of Bhaisakundal Hamirgarh, hid the money in the house of his friend Hansraj alias Sonu in Bhilwara. Pooja also told that they have also bought a Ford company car worth Rs 1.5 lakh.
The granddaughter came
Pooja Chaudhary came to her parental home in Harni village from her in-laws’ home in Bhaisakundal Hamirgarh on June 14. Her grandfather’s (father’s uncle) Bakshu Lal Jat’s house is next to her father’s house. Pooja knew about the money kept in his house. She used to visit her grandfather’s house.
