Is the Finance Minister’s budget going to please Hindus and Sanatan? Crores spent on temples

Jaipur : Finance Minister Diya Kumari started reading the budget for the year 2024-25 on the floor of the Assembly at 11:00 am on Wednesday. The budget speech lasted for more than two hours. The budget was prepared in such a way that the budget appeared to be appeasing Hindu and Sanatan Dharma. No Chief Minister of Bharatiya Janata Party has ever presented a budget in such a way appeasing Sanatan Dharma. Leaving everyone behind, Diya Kumari made every effort to appease the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and Sanatan Dharma in this budget.

Finance Minister Diya Kumari proposed a budget of Rs.100 crores for the renovation of Khatu Shyam Ji. On the other hand, on the occasion of festivals like Holi-Diwali, Rakshabandhan, Navratri etc., the government ensured the responsibility of decorating more than 600 old temples, providing diyas, lights and offerings. Along with this, the Finance Minister also announced the promotion of astrology in Rajasthan in the budget presentation. Rs.10 crores were approved for the Astrology Science Center in Jaipur. Three new Sanskrit colleges were also talked about in the budget today.

The renovation of Jaipur Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya was also included in the budget, in which three Sanskrit colleges will be opened at a cost of 50 crores. A Center of Excellence will be built in Jaipur at a cost of Rs 10 crores. Rajasthan Mandapam will be built in Rajasthan on the lines of Delhi. This has also been proposed.
