Jaipur girl students are adamant on the demand of removal of Mahi Girls Hostel warden, protest continues

Jaipur : Jaipur Protest against the appointment of warden in Mahi Girls Hostel of Rajasthan University continued outside the Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat for the second day on Thursday. Even on Thursday, the students remained adamant on their demand for immediate cancellation of the appointment. He says that the warden who was removed earlier. Now by appointing him again, the rules of the university have been violated. The students alleged that the administration took the decision without our consent or consultation, which is not right. Earlier also he had faced mental stress and disorders. Our agitation will continue until our demands are met. Now the question arises that why are the girl students of the same hostel protesting every day. In such a situation, it is necessary to conduct an investigation by the university administration.

What do experts say? Experts say that along with the mandatory requirement of identity card for the students living in the hostel, those coming from outside after 10 am to 5 pm should also be given entry after thorough checking. The university administration should monitor the security of the hostels of the campus and constituent colleges at night. CCTV cameras should be installed and mobile numbers of vehicles should be recorded, so that any incident can be detected. In case of any kind of problem in the hostels, a teacher should be appointed to solve it, so that solutions can be found on the basis of complaint.
