Jaipur : there is good news for the school children of Jaipur city. New virtual shows will start in Birla Planetarium from the new year. Talks are going on with ISRO for this. Currently, in collaboration with ISRO, ‘Apollo-11’ provides a tour of space and the moon in a 10-minute show every day. Preparations are being made to show adventures related to sea and mountain in the new show. Finance Manager of Planetarium, Manish Aggarwal said that increasing the virtual shows will increase the attraction for school children. For this, talks are being held on different platforms. The city reporter took stock of the show currently going on. Planetarium assistant Sudhir Pandey said that a play area has also been opened in the planetarium for children aged between 3 to 10 years, in which many things like working car, aeroplane, horse have been installed. 25 to 30 thousand students and 18 to 20 thousand people are coming to watch the show throughout the year.
Three shows running daily: To give students knowledge related to science and space, three such shows are running in Birla Planetarium, in which you can learn about space, telescope, space technology, satellite, different planets, constellations, Sun in just 60 minutes. Eclipse, journey to Saturn, getting to know life apart from Earth closely. ‘Cassini – A Charismatic Mission’ is a 60-minute show. It explains about stars and planets along with various celestial mechanics, space, science, astronomy, physics and science. The show is closed on Mondays. The remaining 6 days are 3 shows at 1, 3 and 5 pm. The special thing is that apart from these three shows, slots can also be booked for the school and college students visiting here. 132 people can watch the show in the planetarium at a time. Its entry fee is Rs 80.
