Jalore’s Kusum gets gold medal in national school competition

Jalore : Jalore Wushu player Kusum Suthar, daughter of Dungaram Suthar of PMShri Government Higher Secondary School, Jalore, has brought glory to Rajasthan by winning the gold medal in the National School Wushu Sports Competition. Principal Chanikaran Karnot told that in the national level school Wushu sports competition being organized in Jammu and Kashmir, school student Kusum Suthar defeated Meghna Rai of West Bengal in her preliminary match and Gadi Jyotirmoy of Andhra Pradesh by knockout in the free quarter final and reached the quarter final. Entered the final by defeating Anandi Rai of Bihar in the quarter finals and Jashnoor Kaur of Punjab in the semi finals. Earned the honor of getting the first gold medal for Rajasthan by defeating Aditi Rana of Chandigarh in the final match.

On this achievement of student Kusum Suthar and her instructor Devesh Arya, all the staff, colleagues and students of the school family have expressed happiness and congratulated them. Earlier last year, Kusum Suthar had won gold medal at the state level and bronze medal at the national level in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Principal Chainakaran Karnot expressed his gratitude to Arya Veer Dal Jalore, which provided resources and provided free training facilities to the players of the school.
