Jaipur : Jaipur Development Authority’s (JDA) action against illegal encroachment on New Sanganer Road in Jaipur was completed on the third day. Illegal construction of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar’s Kamna Farm House and the office of Pushpendra Bhardwaj, who was the Congress candidate in the assembly elections from Sanganer, was also demolished. The JDA team took action today near the Sanganer culvert.
According to JDA officials, the road will be widened to 200 feet from the boundary of the Housing Board. At present, the width of this road is only 150 to 160 feet. In such a situation, the JDA team removed the encroachment of 40 to 50 feet on the sector road in the last few years. A total of 690 constructions were included in this. These included more than 15 restaurants, more than 20 marriage gardens, farm houses and more than 500 shops.
48 hours were given to remove the idols from the temple
JDA did not take any action against Mangal Mandir Satsang Bhawan Ashram today. Which is located on Vijay Mangal Nagar New Sanganeer Road. The temple administration has been given 48 hours to remove the idols as per rituals. After this, JDA’s team will remove the temple coming on Sector Road.
Only a few constructions with stay remain
Jaipur Development Authority’s enforcement inspector Tribhuvan Kumar Vashisht said that the action will be completed soon. After this, only a few constructions with a stay order from the court will remain on the 6.5 km long New Sanganeer Road. Legal action will be taken on this too.
Encroachment removed from the office of Pushpendra, who was the Congress candidate from Sanganer
Today, the JDA team took action against the office of Congress’ Pushpendra Bhardwaj, who contested the assembly elections from Sanganer against Bhajanlal Sharma. During this, the illegal construction on about 150 yards of land in front of the office was removed. This includes the boundary wall and the main gate.
218 encroachments will be removed today
A total of 218 encroachments will be removed by JDA today. These include 188 shops, one hotel, one cafe, one school, one temple, three marriage gardens, 5 boundary walls and 18 commercial complexes. The JDA team has also demolished the illegal encroachment of the office of Congress candidate from Sanganer Assembly, Pushpendra Bhardwaj.
Vice President’s family themselves removed the encroachment
Even before the action of JDA on Friday, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar’s family has started removing illegal construction at Kamna Farm House on their own level. The wall built in the encroachment area has been removed here. Also, the process of removing temporary rooms is going on.
Notices were issued 5 days before the action
JDA Deputy Commissioner Sunil Sharma said- JDA is continuously taking action against illegal construction. In this sequence, illegal construction is now being removed from New Sanganer Road. Earlier, notice was issued to the encroachers and they were given 5 days to remove the encroachment on their own. Those who have not removed the construction in this period, such construction is being removed by JDA.
