Jhunjhunu Nursery, LKG and UKG will start in PMShri schools on the lines of private schools.

Jhunjhunu News Desk: Nursery, LKG and UKG education will be started on the lines of private schools in the first phase of PMShree schools of the entire state including Jhunjhunu district. Applications for admission to three-year pre-primary classes in 402 PM Shri schools established in the first phase in the state started from Thursday. Applications can be made here till 27th November. The admission process is being started in these schools for the academic session 24-25. The Directorate of Elementary Education has issued guidelines for admission in three-year pre-primary classes. According to this, children of 3 years of age or above can be given admission in pre-primary class. For this admission process, the Additional District Education Officer working in the office of the District Education Officer (Elementary and Secondary) of every district has been made the nodal officer. The number of PMShree schools opened in different phases in the district is twenty one.

List will be released on 28th, lottery on 29th

Parents will be able to apply from November 21 to November 27. The list of applications will be pasted on the school notice board on 28th November. The lottery of applications received for pre-primary classes Nursery, LKG and UKG will be held on November 29. The list of admitted children will be pasted on the notice board on 30th November and classes will start from 2nd December after completing the admission work. The pre-primary classes, Nursery, LKG and UKG classes being started in PM Shri Schools will run only for 5 days from Monday to Friday and children will be taught only for 4 hours daily. The timing of these classes will be from 8 am to 12 noon in summer and from 10 am to 2 pm in winter. 25 children will be given admission in each class. Text books will be provided by the Text Book Board. Children living near PM Shri School will get priority in admission.
