Justice is not the crime and punishment, but the spirit of the three new laws: CM Yogi

Lucknow, 26 November (IANS). Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday mentioned several things at the inauguration of the National Conference (26-27 November) on the role of forensic science and cyber security in the justice process under new criminal laws on the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Indian Constitution. Did. CM Yogi also inaugurated the new auditorium in the Forensic Institute. Also provided certificates of various courses to the children.

CM Yogi said that with the inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, three new laws were implemented in the country from July 1. These three laws are the Indian Judicial Code, the Indian Civil Defense Code and the Indian Evidence Act. The meaning of all this is not the Criminal Code and the Penal Code, but the Justice Code. This is the code of civil defence. Under this, first evidence will be collected, after which the criminal will be brought to the dock. The first condition of good governance is to establish the rule of law. The rule of law has been firmly established in the state for the last seven and a half years. The rule of law of the state is being discussed in the country and abroad.

Chief Minister Yogi said that the date of 26 November 1949 is an important date in the history of independent India. India had adopted the Constitution written by Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the son of Mother India, 75 years ago. Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for celebrating this date as ‘Constitution Day’ across the country from 26 November 2015.

CM Yogi said that development work is being done rapidly with the use of technology. But, some people are misusing it and causing financial loss to people. In such a situation, technology will have to be used positively to prevent incidents like cyber frauds and digital arrest. If positive thinking people run away from technology, negative people will dominate it. In such a situation, we should not let them dominate. In the first phase, cyber police stations have been established in 18 ranges of the state to deal with cyber frauds. After this it was established in 75 districts. Today, one cyber help desk is operating in all 1,775 police stations of the state. Under this, the first Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Sciences was established in the state.

CM Yogi said that the land of the institute was taken over by the dreaded land mafia during the dark era of the state (SP government). In such a situation, action was taken against the land mafia and the land was vacated. Today a grand institute stands on the same land, where various courses are being taught. What was the situation of Uttar Pradesh before the year 2017, it is not hidden from anyone. The youth of the state were facing an identity crisis. Law and order had completely collapsed. During that time hooliganism was at its peak. A decent person could not come on the streets. He was afraid to come out of the house. Deadly criminals and mafia used to run parallel governments freely.

He said that the adverse effect of that time was that the youth and citizens of the state faced an identity crisis. Today the state is riot free, goon free and mafia free. The government has done large-scale recruitment against vacant posts in the police in the last seven and a half years. During this period, more than 1,54,000 police personnel were recruited in a transparent manner. Recently, the process of new recruitment of 60,200 police personnel has been conducted, the result of which has also come.

MLA Rajeshwar Singh, Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh, DGP Prashant Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary Home Deepak Kumar, ADG GK Goswami etc. were present in the program.
