Jyotiba Phule’s death anniversary celebrated in Bharatpur Children’s School

Bharatpur : Jyotiba Phule’s Mahaparinirvan Diwas was celebrated in Free Children’s School in the presence of the Chief Guest, Committee Chairman Veerpal Singh. Addressing all the members of the school, children and parents, he told that he formed an organization called Satya Shodhak Samaj in Maharashtra. He did many works for the upliftment of women, backward and untouchables.

The main contribution of Jyoti Rao Phule was to open the first school for girls from the lower strata of the society and promoted women’s education. Vijay Singh, while presiding, said that Jyoti Rao and Savitribai Phule stressed the importance of education. Both of them were committed to education. Digambar Singh told that he did many works for the upliftment of women, backward and untouchables. Sandeep Singh, Saurabh Kumar, Poonam Kumari and parents were present on this occasion.
