Shivpuri, 30 November (IANS). Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia met the family members of a Dalit youth on Saturday and expressed his condolences after the murder of a Dalit youth in Shivpuri district on Friday. During the meeting, Scindia called this incident unfortunate. The mother of the deceased became emotional after seeing the minister.
After this, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, while talking to journalists at the Collector’s office in Shivpuri, gave his reaction on the case of murder of Dalit youth. He said that this matter should not be given caste colour. He clarified that strict action has been taken against those who were involved in this crime. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has also expressed his condolences to the victim’s family and has given an assistance amount of Rs 4 lakh.
Scindia said that he himself met the victim Dalit family and considering the seriousness of the matter, directed the SP to take immediate action. He stressed that this issue should not be linked to casteism as strict action has been taken against the crime and proper help has also been given to the victim’s family.
During this, he praised the people of Shivpuri city and said that they are actively involved in solving the problems of the citizens by participating enthusiastically in the winter session.
Apart from this, Minister Scindia said that the society of Shivpuri city has cooperated enthusiastically in arranging quilts, mattresses and food during the winter season. He believes that the people of the city are not only working together with the administration, but are also fulfilling their social responsibilities well.
Jyotiraditya Scindia has given his reaction in the case of Rs 100 crore scam in the Cooperative Bank in Kolaras, Shivpuri. On this he said that I know that there has been a scam in the Cooperative Bank in Kolaras, Shivpuri, in which Rs 100 crore of the general public has been embezzled. In this matter, Shivpuri Collector has been asked to make a proposal and send it to the government. He said that this is common people’s money.
