New Delhi, December 2 (IANS). On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi watched the film ‘The Sabarmati Report’ along with Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, several ministers and MPs and film artists at the Balayogi Auditorium of Parliament.
After watching the film, PM Modi praised the film makers in a post on Facebook.
Kangana Ranaut told IANS after watching the film with the Prime Minister, “You must watch this film because the history of our country has been shown in it.” It also tells how the earlier Congress government hid the facts due to which so many people lost their lives. The film also shows us that the impact of what happened today is still felt. It’s sad to see this.”
Kangana Ranaut said, “But today it also feels good that artists have got so much freedom that they can make films according to their thinking and bring out the truth.”
Veteran actor Jitendra, who came to watch the film, said, “I told the Honorable Prime Minister that I have spent 50 years in the film industry and this is the first time that because of my daughter today I am sitting with the Prime Minister and watching a film, so he told me That he has also watched a film for the first time after becoming the Prime Minister, and this is a good thing.
