Kanishka took out Barghoda Yatra in Karoli, people started cheering for Lord Mahavir.

Karauli : Karauli Mumukshu Kanishka’s Varghoda was taken out with much fanfare with bands in Karauli. Barghoda Yatra started from Satyavati Vihar of the city with the cheers of Lord Mahavir. Dikshaarti Kanishka was riding in an attractively decorated vehicle. The band players were playing the melodious sound of bhajans. Men and women of the entire Jain community were cheering Jinendra and singing hymns. Barghod Yatra reached Jain Dharamshala through main roads including Gulab Bagh, Hospital Road, Hindaun Gate, Chaudhary Pada, Phuta Kot, Bada Bazaar, where Mumukshu Kanishka was welcomed by the entire Jain community. During this time, the atmosphere of the area became religious due to the echoing cheers.

Kanishka (21), a resident of Baroda, Alwar, is taking initiation at a young age. Kanishka told that she is taking initiation with the inspiration of Acharya Bhagwant 1008 Shri Hirachand Maharaj. Kanishka is currently in the service of Sarleshprabha Maharaj and Kanishka will have her initiation ceremony in Jodhpur in the month of December.
