Rajasthan : Monsoon became active once again in Rajasthan. On Thursday, it rained in some districts including Beawar, Chittorgarh, Jhunjhunu. Light rain also occurred in the capital Jaipur. But, today a rain alert has been issued in 26 districts of the state including the capital Jaipur. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in 13 of these districts. Due to the activity of monsoon, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many districts for the next three days. Talking about the last 24 hours, up to 3 inches of rain was recorded in Pali, Chittorgarh and Jhunjhunu. Apart from this, 89 mm of rain was recorded in Nasirabad of Ajmer, 68 mm in Rajpur of Beawar, 85 mm in Rashmi of Chittorgarh, 70 mm in Gudha of Jhunjhunu, 69 mm in Udaipurwati, 59 mm in Ajmer and 65 mm in Baran.
Monsoon trough line passing through Sri Ganganagar
According to the weather centre, a low pressure area is located in the Gulf of Arabian Sea off the coast of Karnataka, Goa and another low pressure area is located over northern Bangladesh and surrounding areas. The monsoon trough line is also passing through Sri Ganganagar, Rohtak. Due to the effect of this system, monsoon will remain active in many parts of eastern Rajasthan for the next 5-6 days.
Rain alert in these districts today
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in Banswara, Baran, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Kota, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sirohi, Udaipur, Nagaur and Pali today. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms in Ajmer, Alwar, Bharatpur, Bundi, Dausa, Dholpur, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Tonk and Jalore. A yellow alert for rain has been issued.
There will be heavy rain here for the next three days
24 August: Heavy rain will occur in Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Kota, Banswara, Baran, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sirohi, Udaipur and Pali. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in other 15 districts as well.
25 August: There will be rain across the state except Bikaner, Jaisalmer and Sri Ganganagar. There is a possibility of very heavy rain in Banswara, Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Pratapgarh and Sirohi and heavy rain in Pali, Jalore, Udaipur and Rajsamand.
26 August: Monsoon will remain active throughout the state. Banswara, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sirohi and Udaipur will receive heavy rains. In the other 26 districts, there is a possibility of drizzle or heavy rain.
