Major accident in Barmer, fighter plane crashes, eyewitness tells the whole story of the accident

Barmer : A fighter plane crashed near Kavas in Barmer on Monday night. Around 9.30 pm on Monday night, the MiG-29 fell in the field of Aalaniyon Ki Dhani. Before this, the pilot landed safely with a parachute. After getting information about the accident, Air Force officials also reached the spot. A security cordon was made here.

SP reached the spot

After getting information about the accident, SP Narendra Singh Meena, Subdivision Officer Samandar Singh Bhati and other administrative officers reached the spot. From here they left with the fire brigade. Eyewitness Bhim Singh, who lives in Barmer, said that on seeing the fireball moving towards the ground, he thought it was a plane. It was fortunate that it was far from the inhabited area and away from the huts. When the plane fell in the field, he was the first to reach there. He saw from a distance that fire was burning. He did not go near the plane.

The pilot landed here

The pilot landed safely near Dungar Singh Mag Singh’s Dhani, close to the accident site. After the pilot landed, Air Force officers arrived and immediately provided security to the pilot and took him away from here.

The pilot showed understanding

Ridmal Singh said that the plane fell near his house. His family members informed him. He was in the hospital and reached there immediately. By then the pilot had landed safely near his house. He was talking on a mobile call. After this, Air Force officers took him away. Ridmal Singh said that due to the presence of mind of the pilot, the plane landed in the field. There is an oil field just two km away. Kavas village is also nearby, which is densely populated. There was no danger of any kind due to the plane landing in the field.

There has been no loss.

On receiving information about the plane crash, the police reached the spot. Fire brigade and other vehicles arrived. A security cordon was put in place here. Both the pilots are safe. There has been no loss of life or property.
