Lucknow, November 17 (IANS). UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is continuously taking important steps to provide easy, cheap and quality treatment to the people of the state. Under this, the Yogi government is providing free ultrasound facility to pregnant women at private ultrasound centres. For this, e-rupee vouchers are being issued to pregnant women.
More than 14 lakh vouchers have been issued till 9 November. In this, maximum of more than 61 thousand vouchers have been issued in Azamgarh, while at second place, more than 56 thousand vouchers have been issued in Agra and at third place, more than 53 thousand vouchers have been issued in Badaun. Let us tell you that Yogi government is providing free facility at private ultrasound centers from February 2023.
Director of National Health Mission (NHM) Dr. Pinky Joval said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is very serious about the health of mother and child. In such a situation, the Yogi government had launched the e-Rupee Voucher Scheme in February 2023 to provide free services to pregnant women at private ultrasound centres. Its objective is to provide necessary check-up facilities to women from time to time during pregnancy, so that their health and that of their unborn baby can be ensured. In this sequence, till November 9, the government has issued vouchers worth Rs 14,50,238 to pregnant women. At the same time, pregnant women have availed vouchers worth Rs 6,81,341.
He informed that till November 9, maximum number of 61,019 vouchers have been issued in Azamgarh. Along with this, Azamgarh is at first place in issuing vouchers, while Agra is at second place, where 56,512 vouchers have been issued. Similarly, Badaun is at third place, where 53,733 vouchers have been issued.
Mission Director said that among the top ten districts of the state in issuing e-Rupee vouchers, Prayagraj is at fourth place, Deoria is at fifth place, Ghaziabad is at sixth place, Gorakhpur is at seventh place, Bareilly is at eighth place, Ghazipur is at ninth place and It is Hardoi. Similarly, the least number of 4,352 vouchers were issued in Kasganj. After this, 4,876 e-rupee vouchers were issued in Bhadohi and 5,749 in Shamli. The objective of Yogi government’s e-Rupee voucher facility is to make health services in the state more effective and accessible. This scheme has not only ensured health check-up of women, but has also proved helpful in curbing corruption. This scheme is completely digital, due to which the benefits of the Yogi government scheme are reaching the beneficiaries directly.
