Minor selling drugs from home along with 34 kg illegal doda poppy and 4 buyers arrested, see how NCB took big action

Jodhpur : Drug trade is continuously increasing in Rajasthan. Criminals are now openly doing drug business. One such case has come to light from Jodhpur district of the state. Where Shastrinagar police station of the district and NCB took a major action against Doda poppy like NDPS Act. In which they seized doda powder and ground poppy along with the vehicle from the possession of a minor child from a house in Milk Man Colony of the district. Along with this, the team also arrested four buyers who had come to buy drugs.

Police said that as per the joint direction of Police Commissioner Rajendra Singh and NCB Zonal Director Ghanshyam Soni, this action has been taken under the supervision of ADCP Nishant Bhardwaj and ACP Chhavi Sharma. In which information was received that Sonaram Bishnoi, resident of Lunawas Khara, had brought a huge quantity of illegal doda poppy to his residential house in Pal Road for selling.

34 kilos of poppy seeds seized

After this, NCB Regional Enforcement Inspector Rajesh Kumar and SI Manish went to the spot with the team under the leadership of Police Officer Devendra Singh. During this time, the team raided Sonaram’s house in Milkman Colony, but there these drugs were in the possession of a minor. After this, sawdust and ground poppy seeds were confiscated from the team. After confiscation, the goods were weighed, in which its weight was found to be 34 kg. After this, the team also seized a car and took the minor under their protection and registered a case under the NDPS Act. Meanwhile, the team also arrested Babulal Prajapat, Ayaan Khan, Sahil Shah and Farhan, who had come there to drink and buy Doda poppy.
