Udaipur : Monsoon is being eagerly awaited in the state, while the pre-monsoon rain continued on Monday as well. 16.5 mm of rain was recorded in Udaipur between Sunday night and Monday day 24 hours. In such a situation, with the fall, the temperature reached around 35 degrees. The onset of monsoon in Udaipur is considered from 25 June, while at present there is a delay in the monsoon rain. In such a situation, the monsoon can enter between 26 to 28 June. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in many districts of the state.
Pre-monsoon showers
The pre-monsoon rain started at 4 am on Monday and continued till 8 am. Even after this, drizzle continued till noon. The south-west monsoon has gained momentum in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. Thus, there is hope that the monsoon will enter Rajasthan soon. According to the Meteorological Department, the Dabok centre received 16.5 mm of rain in 24 hours from Sunday evening to Monday evening and 8.2 mm of rain from Monday morning to evening. Here, 8 mm of rain fell at Udaisagar and 3 mm at Vallabhnagar.

At the same time, in Chhoti Brahmapuri of Surajpol area, the balcony of a house collapsed during the rain. The car parked outside the house was damaged. It was fortunate that no one was present nearby during the incident, otherwise a major accident could have occurred.
