In the viral video, Namonarayan Meena has accused his brother Harish Meena of not getting the ticket. He said, ‘My brother did it to me, if I had got a chance I would have won this time’. He said this in front of Naresh Meena, who was seen following in the footsteps of rebelling against Congress.
Asked for ticket in assembly elections 2023 also
Senior Congress leader Namonarayan Meena, who was the Minister of State for Finance in the UPA government, had demanded a ticket from Bamanwas assembly seat in the 2023 assembly elections. But Congress ignored their demand and gave ticket to Indira Meena and she also won.
Both brothers contested elections against each other
During the previous Gehlot government, Harish Meena had joined BJP after taking voluntary retirement from the post of Director General of Police. BJP gave him ticket from Dausa seat in Lok Sabha elections-2014 and fielded him against his elder brother Namonarayan Meena. In which Harish Meena won by defeating Kirori Lal Meena and Namonorayan Meena.
Who is Namonorayan Meena?
Namo Narayan Meena was the Minister of State for Finance in the Government of India. He was elected MP from Tonk-Sawai Madhopur as a Congress Party candidate. From 2004 to 2005, he was in the Cabinet as Union Minister of State in the Ministry of Environment and Forests.
